A purely Czech company currently focused primarily on the production of bathroom furniture has a long and successful history as well as a strong present. Because it pays close attention to the needs of its customers, it also has a clear and promising future.

The Roots of the Company

The history of Dřevojas began in 1946 when a group of carpenters from Svitavy in Moravia founded a production cooperative. Thanks to a professional approach and high-quality craftsmanship, the demand for their products kept growing, which led to a continuous expansion of production. At the end of the 1950s, after a factory fire, the entire facility underwent complete renovation and modernization. Paradoxically, this did not weaken the company; on the contrary, it opened the door to new markets and opportunities. In 1971, Dřevojas merged with the production cooperative Dřevotvar Pardubice, although this had no impact on the production itself. Demand continued to grow. For this reason, the construction of a new plant in the industrial zone of Svitavy began in 1976, where the company is still based today.

Focused on Design and Quality

In 1991, the Dřevojas cooperative separated from Dřevotvar, and since 1993 it has specialized in the production of bathroom furniture. A major milestone came in 2002 when the ownership changed and the cooperative became a 100% family-owned Czech company without foreign capital. Over the years, Dřevojas has undergone many transformations, including a new logo, modernization of production, the introduction of new technologies, and the opening of a branded showroom in the center of Svitavy. Today, the company employs approximately 80 people, and its production and storage facilities cover an impressive area of 8,000 m². Thanks to the outstanding quality of its products, the company holds a strong position in the Czech bathroom furniture market and exports its products to nine European countries.

A Commitment to Quality

Dřevojas understands the high expectations of its customers and therefore leaves nothing to chance. In recent years alone, the company has invested tens of millions into modern machinery and systems that enable it to create truly high-quality products. The company also places strong emphasis on environmental protection, which is why it uses BAT technologies that ensure environmentally responsible production. Since 2014, the company has held the “Czech Product” certification. Its furniture is designed in cooperation with professional architects, designers, and artists who are among the best in their fields. Another important contribution of the company is its support for the local region. It regularly provides opportunities for talented students from art schools and supports local sports clubs.

Dřevojas recognized the strength of specialization very early on and has therefore focused exclusively on bathroom furniture since 1993. Gradually, it has expanded its product range to include washbasins, vanity tops, WC units, and designer bathroom accessories. Customers can choose from various types of standalone cabinets, vanity cabinets, mirrored cabinets, and mirrors. The cabinets impress with their clever, practical design, creativity, and precise craftsmanship. A wide range of technical solutions and cabinet sizes is available, along with an attractive selection of surface finishes.
