About Keuco

Keuco is a German global brand that has been active in the sanitary technology market since 1953. It was founded by Paul Keune, Hermann Bönner, Josef Himrich, and Eduard Baron de Becker Remy under the original name Paul Keune & Co. KG. In 1984, the company was renamed KEUCO GmbH & Co. KG, and today it is known simply as Keuco. The company is still owned by the de Becker Remy, Himrich, and König families. The main partners are all family members of the original founders, and the company is managed by Engelbert Himrich and Hartmut Dalheimer.

The brand’s production facilities are located in Hemer, Gütersloh, and Bünde in Germany. The product range includes over 6,000 items – such as faucets, shower systems, sanitary ceramics, mirrors with lighting, bathroom furniture, bathroom accessories, and mirrored cabinets. They are characterized by first-class design, clean lines, thoughtful concepts, meticulous craftsmanship, excellent functionality and long-lasting durability. Keuco’s goal is to create a comfortable and impressive space for relaxation in your bathroom.

Keuco Designers

Collaboration with designers has been a tradition at Keuco since the 1970s. Initially, Keuco worked with Luigi Colani to create accessories, lights, and mirrors for the famous Colani bathroom – the first fully equipped bathroom developed in cooperation with Villeroy & Boch and GROHE. Later, Keuco partnered with renowned designers such as Matteo Thun, Christoph Ingenhoven, and Reiner Moll. Dominik Tesseraux is also a leading designer for the brand.

Thanks to innovation, creative collaboration, German quality, and renowned designers, Keuco today offers complete bathroom furnishings in top-quality craftsmanship.

• Dominik Tesseraux – born in 1966 in Bensheim, Germany. He lives and works in Potsdam. Trained as a carpenter, he studied design in Darmstadt. He works with several companies including Bette, Hewi, Keuco, Siemens, and SKS Kinkel. He has received numerous prestigious awards for his design work.
• Matteo Thun – born on June 17, 1952, in Bolzano as Matthäus Antonius Maria Thun. He comes from a South Tyrolean noble family known for ceramics production. He studied at the University of Florence. After several years in the USA, he co-founded the legendary Memphis group with Ettore Sottsass, known for its unconventional furniture style. In 1984, he founded Studio Matteo Thun in Milan and has received multiple Compasso d’Oro awards.
• Christoph Ingenhoven – born in 1960 in Düsseldorf. He completed his studies at the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts under Hans Hollein in 1981 and studied architecture at RWTH Aachen in 1984. Coming from a family of architects, he launched his own practice in 1985. His firm, ingenhoven architects, is based in Düsseldorf.
• Rainer Moll – born in 1947. Studied industrial design at the University of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd under Professor Karl Dittert. Founded .molldesign in 1971, which he still leads with a team of 10 employees. His design approach blends traditional and freeform concepts, producing functional, useful, yet emotionally engaging creations. His work has received numerous awards, and .molldesign was named Design Team of the Year by the Design Center Nordrhein Westfalen.
