The history of this brand began in the German town of Menden in 1926. From a small family business, it gradually became an international company. Today, Kludi operates in over 100 countries worldwide (including the Benelux countries, France, Austria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, and China). Production facilities are located in Germany, Austria, Hungary, and the United Arab Emirates.

He founded his first company with a partner in 1993. Since 2016, the company has operated under the name MICHAEL STEIN DESIGN.
