KOLO sanitary products demonstrate that quality, reliability, and modern design are more than just words. The KOLO brand, part of the international Geberit Group, upholds values that are strong and sustainable over the long term.
The goal of KOLO sanitary products is to help people create a comfortable, functional, and eco-friendly home. Great emphasis is also placed on visual design, which significantly affects the overall atmosphere of a room and can create a spa-like experience. Safety and ease of installation are equally important. Geberit, KOLO’s parent company, closely monitors international trends, develops many of them, and applies its experience through constant innovations and new product releases.
KOLO is synonymous with sanitary ceramics that impress with design, precise craftsmanship, advanced technology, easy installation, and compatibility. Their range includes washbasins, sinks, wall-mounted and freestanding toilets, bidets, urinals, flush tanks and systems, shower trays, bathtubs, bath panels, bathroom furniture sets (e.g., washbasin cabinets), mirrored cabinets and mirrors, shower enclosures, and a variety of bathroom accessories that make your bathroom experience more practical and enjoyable.
Geberit holds a prominent position in the international sanitary products market. It is a company shaping the future of bathroom technology and ceramics. Its headquarters are in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. The story began in 1874 when founder Casper Melchior Gebert offered plumbing services. From 1905, the company started manufacturing sanitary parts and later developed its own flush tanks (Phoenix), which became highly popular. In 1909, Gebert’s sons, Albert and Leo, took over and expanded operations into neighboring countries.
In the 1930s, Geberit pioneered the use of plastic components in the sanitary industry. In 1953, the company officially adopted the Geberit name and expanded across Europe. The 1970s and 1980s saw numerous new products, including drainage systems, flush systems, personal hygiene products, and plumbing systems. Production was automated in 1986. In 1995, the family sold the company to the British firm Doughty Hanson, beginning a period of acquisitions that expanded Geberit’s reach into related products and technologies. Today, Geberit operates 29 production facilities, six of which are overseas, and employs approximately 12,000 people across more than 50 countries. Its shares are part of the Swiss Market Index (SMI).
