Polysan: A Tradition of Czech Quality

The Czech company Polysan, based in Nesměřice near Zruč nad Sázavou, began its story in 1996. It focuses on the production and sale of high-quality bathtubs, shower trays, as well as bath screens and shower enclosures. In 1997, the company expanded its products with hydromassage and air massage systems.
 

Something for Everyone

When Polysan was founded in 1996, it introduced its first eight types of acrylic bathtubs to the market. As interest in these quality products grew, the range gradually expanded to the current 92 bathtub series (or 133 size variants) and 25 series of shower trays (62 sizes). In addition to acrylic products, Polysan also offers products made from cast marble.

In 2004, the company expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include glass shower enclosures, including walk-in variants, and bath screens. Today, the company offers 10 series of shower enclosures (in approximately 200 sizes) and 14 bath screen models. In addition, the company also focuses on manufacturing accessories, shower drains, and shower panels.

Currently, Polysan distributes its products not only throughout the Czech Republic but also exports them to 18 countries worldwide.

Quality Relaxation

In addition to strictly maintaining material quality and continuously innovating production technologies, the company also focuses on high user comfort. Since 1997, it has equipped its bathtubs with hydromassage and air massage systems. Thanks to many positive responses, the company established its own development department, where the timeless technical solution of bubble massage with TurboAir technology was created.

These systems are appreciated not only in private homes but also in accommodation facilities that emphasize customer comfort and care.
 

Proven Technologies

Polysan manufactures its acrylic bathtubs and shower trays from branded Lucite acrylic, which differs from standard products because it is cast rather than extruded. This makes it significantly more durable, harder, and more pleasant to the touch. The surfaces feature excellent color consistency, high strength, and color stability. Thanks to the non-porous surface, maintenance is also significantly easier.

Because the company focuses on maximum user comfort, the bottoms of the bathtubs and trays are reinforced with a special HEAVY SHELL mixture from the British brand Armour Ltd., which makes the bathtub feel more stable. Polysan has also moved away from hardening bathtubs through thermal shock. Instead, after removal from the mold, the bathtubs are left to cure to maximum hardness at a temperature of 20 °C. This process achieves a perfectly smooth and even surface that is pleasant to the touch.

An important pillar of the company’s quality is not only the emphasis on the safety of its products but also the high attention paid to their long-term durability. The company’s goal is to provide customers with products that remain beautiful even after many years of active use.

This is achieved not only through advanced manufacturing technologies but also through surface protection. For glass enclosures, for example, the ANTIDROP surface treatment prevents water droplets from settling and drying on the surface, reducing the formation of limescale. As a result, maintenance is easy, quick, and effective.
