Shower hose length

The length of shower hoses usually ranges from 125 cm to 200 cm. The choice of length depends on the height of the shower head and how flexible and maneuverable you want the shower to be. A longer hose is suitable for more comfortable handling, while a shorter one is generally more compact.

OUR TIP: The best-selling shower hose length for a shower tap is 150 cm. However, you can also find shower hoses with a length of 200 cm in our range.

Connections and threads

Shower hoses feature standardized threads (1/2"), which are compatible with most shower heads and water connections. The joints are often reinforced to prevent water leakage.

Shower hose material

When purchasing a shower hose, you will most commonly encounter plastic, stainless steel, or metal hoses. A plastic shower hose is lightweight, easy to maintain, and often comes with a decorative chrome finish. Plastic shower hoses are resistant to limescale buildup but are often more prone to mechanical damage. 

A stainless steel or metal shower hose is highly durable and robust. It often features an anti-limescale surface finish for easier maintenance. Metal shower hoses last much longer than plastic ones, but their surface may damage a bathtub and they are also less flexible.
